Public Info;

Ultra Low Emission Zone and Low Emission Zoneulez-3b-_London-Surver.png

Transport for London has a survey/consultation which needs to be completed by 28 Feb, 2018.  It is regarding making cars more compliant with EU emissions regulations.  They propose moving the dates forward to 2021 and increasing emission charges to those who drive inside the North Circular.

Our readers absolutely need to know about this consultation, which appears either to be deliberately kept rather secret or, at best, poorly publicised.

The link for the survey is http:// www.tinyurl.com/ulez2021.  Please inform our readers every week until the deadline of 28 Feb.

This is to make you aware of a recent type of crime slowly affecting motor vehicles with keyless technology. Please ensure that you keep the keys of those vehicles away from the front door of your properties so that they cannot be scanned with an electronic device.
The suspects are using a scanning device that scans the frequency of the car keys and then they copy this to be able to gain access to the vehicle and drive it off. This relates to all vehicles fitted with keyless operating systems from 2010 onwards.
